Annotation:

The aim of the subject is to make the students acquainted with the fundamentals of zoology interconnected with agriculture and nature conservation. The stress is placed on groups important for domestication, parasite prevention, etiological agents, parasite reservoir animals, vectors and bioregulators. The importance of animals as pests and bioregulators, their influence on pedogenesis and soil fertility, hydrobiology, hunting, formation and nature conservation, bioindication, conservation of genetic resources.
